FIREPLACE ENCLOSURE USING VERMICULITE BOARDS
SkamoEnclosure Vermiculite Board is manufactured from vermiculite. This fire-resistant board offers excellent insulating properties and is resistant to thermal shock and direct flame impact. The fireplace boards are easy to process and install. Their composition allows for easy cutting and shaping using standard woodworking tools. Skamol board is suitable for thermal insulation or additional insulation of all refractory structures. The fireplace enclosure does not overheat, allowing for more precise temperature control and more efficient heat distribution in hot air distribution systems.
In addition, vermiculite increases the combustion temperature. It performs excellently in all types of hearths, including open fireplaces as well as fireplace fireboxes and inserts. It is many times lighter than firebricks. SkamoEnclosure Vermiculite Boards are made from vermiculite, which is a highly effective insulator, significantly reducing the heating of the metal casing of the insert by retaining all the heat generated during combustion within the hearth. It stores very little heat, allowing the fireplace to heat up much faster. Thanks to its insulating properties, significantly less wood is required during the ignition process.
