SkamoEnclosure Board is a lightweight material offering numerous advantages, including excellent thermal resistance (R-value), high mechanical strength, low thermal conductivity and maximum operating temperatures of up to 1000°C. Its outstanding thermal resistance enables the board to withstand continuous heat cycles up to the maximum operating temperature, while its low thermal conductivity ensures optimal insulation across the entire temperature range – making it the ideal solution for custom-built fireplace enclosures.

SkamoEnclosure Vermiculite Board is manufactured from vermiculite. This fire-resistant board offers excellent insulating properties and is resistant to thermal shock and direct flame impact. The boards are easy to process and install. Their composition allows for easy cutting and shaping using standard woodworking tools. Suitable for thermal insulation or additional insulation of all refractory structures. The fireplace enclosure does not overheat, allowing for more precise temperature control and more efficient heat distribution in hot air distribution systems.

USE SKAMOENCLOSURE BOARD – AVOID CRACKS – AVOID RETURN VISITS
SkamoEnclosure Board is listed as a non-combustible insulation material in the European A1 fire rating. It withstands temperatures of up to 1000°C, meaning that SkamoEnclosure Boards protect against ignition, do not contribute to the spread of harmful smoke, and do not release any hazardous substances during combustion.
The thermal resistance and mechanical strength of SkamoEnclosure Boards also help prevent cracking and eliminate costly return visits from dissatisfied customers.
Lightweight and Easy to Fit
The light weight of SkamoEnclosure Boards makes them easy to transport and install. SkamoEnclosure Board is approximately 50% lighter than other non-combustible boards currently available on the market. Constructing a fireplace enclosure using SkamoEnclosure Board is extremely straightforward: commonly used woodworking tools and clamps can be employed for cutting, shaping and joining with any material, leaving minimal waste.
SkamoEnclosure construction boards can be easily cut to any shape or size.
